Renske Arens
FeaturedAbout Candidate
Hey there! I’m Renske, a driven and enthusiastic third-year Social Work student from the Netherlands. Together with my friend Zoë, we’re on the lookout for an exciting internship opportunity where we can conduct research in the field of youth context. We’re eager to find an organization that will allow us to explore a research question and carry out our investigation. It’s important for us to establish an agreement with the company to outline the terms of our research project.
We’re fluent in both Dutch and English, and although our final report will be in Dutch, we’re more than happy to provide our findings to the organization in English. We understand that finding the right organization for our internship may be a challenge, so we’re open to working on-site for a maximum of two days a week to collect and process data.
As a 23-year-old Social Work student, I’m passionate about helping others reintegrate into society. I find great fulfillment in this line of work and always strive to do my best. I consider myself determined, enthusiastic, and highly perseverant. However, I’m also aware that my enthusiasm can sometimes lead me to take on too much, so I’m continuously learning to set boundaries. Mental health is of utmost importance to me, and I prioritize it both in my personal and professional life.
During my free time, I enjoy participating in sports, with a special love for volleyball, which I’ve been playing for twelve years. I also cherish the time spent with my close group of friends, creating cherished memories together.
In terms of work experience, I have served as a server in a restaurant, and I’m currently working as a cashier manager in a supermarket. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience as a gymnastics and volleyball trainer/coach, as well as a swimming instructor and movement therapist. Most recently, I worked as a student coach for Saxion University and ROC Van Twente.
I’m thrilled about the prospect of embarking on an internship in Spain’s vibrant setting, where I can contribute to the field of Social Work and youth. If you’re seeking dedicated and enthusiastic interns to join your organization, I’d love to connect and discuss the exciting internship possibilities ahead!
